May 2015 - A new restaurant has just opened up in Southampton’s brand new Admirals Quay development within Ocean Village.


The Greyhound on the Test, Stockbridge

April 2015 - The accolades that this place has won since then are many and well-deserved. They include Michelin pub of the year, Test Valley business of the year, two AA rosettes for the restaurant and four AA rosettes for the accommodation…but the list really does go on.

Places to eat in Hamble

The Bear and Ragged Staff, Romsey

February 2014 - With its open fires and curios dotted around, this 16th Century pub located in the heart of the Test Valley is a treasure trove of local paraphernalia. From vintage photographs to a parchment detailing the pub’s history, the place is steeped in nostalgia.


Aviator, Farnborough

October 2011 - Editor Elizabeth Barnett samples this months latest A la Carte menu from the Food and Drink Awards nominated Chef of the year, Andrew Donovan.


Bartons Mill Restaurant, Old Basing

February 2011 - Claire Pitcher visited Old Basing and discovered a restaurant tucked away near the village’s famous house.


Mango, Southampton

February 2010 - Cocktails and Thai curry is the thing at this informal, buzzy restaurant/bar.


Little Mere, North Gorley

July 2010 - Little Mere in North Gorley may look quaint and traditional from the outside, but its interior and menu promise fine dining delights.
