St Nicholas’ School gets results

Girls at St Nicholas’ School in Church Crookham are celebrating splendid GCSE results with over a quarter of them achieving passes in 10 subjects or more at A* and A grades.
Olivia Collins from Fleet and former deputy head girl Madhurika Jeyam from Farnborough gained 10 GCSEs at grade A*. Ashling Duggan, Katherine Field, Meghan Jobson, Stephanie Taylor and former head girl Anna-Karin Neal all achieved 10 passes at A* or A grades. Nuha Albasha, Bronya Francis, Sarah Gibbons and Jessica Morgan all gained 10 GCSEs with nine passes at A* or A grades.
The overall percentage of A* to A grades has increased to 62.4 per cent, which is well above the national average. An incredible 82.4 per cent of the results were A* to B grades. The percentage of candidates gaining eight or more GCSEs at grades A* to C was 96.8 per cent.
In addition, 14 pupils took AS level Critical Thinking at Alton College and 13 girls from Year 10 took GCSE French a year early, all passing with A* to B grades.
Headmistress Mrs Annette Whatmough said: “I would like to congratulate our girls. They have all worked very hard. They were a strong year group and I am thrilled that they have achieved the results they deserve. Thanks must also go to the staff for their dedication, hard work and support.”
