The curtain has risen on another festive season and we take a look at the Pantos on offer across Hampshire this Christmas

Peter Pan

Where: Princes Hall, Princes Way, Aldershot, GU12 4RR.

When: Between Friday December 6 and Monday December 30.

Who: Robert Hopkins plays the role of Smee whilst Adam Pettigrew, who trained at The BRIT School, plays Peter Pan.

Sleeping Beauty

Where: The Kings Theatre, Albert Road, Southsea, Portsmouth, PO5 2QJ

When: Running between Wednesday December 11 and Sunday January 5.

Who: Lynne McGranger from Home and Away has the role of the wicked fairy godmother. Also starring Christopher Marlowe from Come Dine With Me.

Aladdin

Where: The Anvil, Churchill Way, Basingstoke, RG21 7QR.

When: Between Thursday December 12 and Sunday January 5.

Who: Former Doctor Who Colin Baker has the role of Abanazar, Chris Carswell plays Aladdin, Ian Good portrays Widow Twankey and Derek Moran plays Wishee Washee.

Where: Starburst @ Samuel Cody Sports College, Ballantyne Road, Farnborough, GU14 8SS.

When: Shows between Thursday December 12 and Sunday December 15.

Dick Whittington

When: Running between Tuesday December 17 and Wednesday January 1.

Who: Featuring Hollyoaks and Holby City star Jeremy Edwards, BBC3’s Bad Education actor Layton Williams and Robert Rawles from Keeping Up Appearances.

The Snow Queen

Where: Phoenix Theatre and Arts Centre, Barbados House, Station Road, Bordon, GU35 0LR.

When: Shows start on Thursday January 16 and run until Saturday January 25.
