The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Community Foundation has now raised more than £3 million from more than 30 fund holders for the long-term benefit of Hampshire's communities.

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Community Foundation has now raised more than 3 million from more than 30 fund holders for the long-term benefit of Hampshires communities. All monies raised in the past two years have benefitted from the Grassroots 1 for 1 match fund Endowment Challenge. The monies will be used to support our local community groups and charities across Hampshire, Portsmouth, Southampton and the Isle of Wight.
The Foundation announced the news to fund holders and supporters at their Talking Philanthropy event recently at Jermyn House in Ampfield. High Sheriff of Hampshire Alan Lovell, said: The Foundation has done some great work in supporting communities, helping the disadvantaged and encouraging a culture of charitable giving.
