Celebrate the countryside at the New Forest and Hampshire County Show

With more than 90,000 visitors expected to descend upon New Park in Brockenhurst for the annual New Forest and Hampshire County Show, here are the top reasons why you need to join them for three days of fun and entertainment in 2018.

In addition all adult and senior tickets purchased online before Tuesday 17 July will receive a 10% discount. Visit newforestshow.co.uk for more information.

Welcoming new attractions in 2018

A variety of new attractions and activities have been introduced around the showground for the 2018 Show. From a Local Business Village showcasing products and services from small businesses across Hampshire and Dorset to a brand new Sports Zone featuring interactive activities and workshops from the Saints Foundation, Hampshire Cricket and Hampshire Netball. Foodies will enjoy the Traditional Bakery, the brand new addition to the popular Local Produce Market where visitors will be taught the art of Flour Milling and making bakery products including a demonstration on Speciality Breads for the dinner table. In addition, the Local Produce Market’s Cooking Demonstration theatre has an exciting timetable of top local chefs who will be preparing delicious dishes and providing visitors with plenty of culinary inspiration.

All-day entertainment in the Main Rings

Atkinson Action Horses will be bringing the Rathbones East Ring to life with their fearless team of stunt riders and outstanding display of tricks and stunts normally only reserved for the TV. With recent credits from Poldark, Victoria, Peaky Blinders, The Living and the Dead & Hippopotamus – it is guaranteed this elite force has at some point invaded your TV screen! Atkinson Action Horses are kindly sponsored by Shorefield Holidays Ltd.

In addition the main rings will be entertaining spectators with International Show Jumping Competitions, The Grand Display of Livestock, Pony Club Mounted Games and the breathtaking Heavy Horse Musical Drive. The New Forest Show is the only place you will have the opportunity to watch sixteen pair of Heavy Horses take part in this unique spectacle.
