Winchester’s Guildhall will play host to a glamorous Moulin Rouge inspired Charity Ball on Saturday 5 December, with proceeds from the evening supporting the work of the British Heart Foundation.

Entitled ‘A Night At The Moulin Rouge’, the Ball will feature a champagne reception, three course dinner with wine, live entertainment, and a charity auction and raffle.

The inspiration behind the Charity Ball is a collaboration between two local Winchester fundraising groups, 3Women and The Mad Hatters Present.

Liz Trevor, co-founder of 3Women said: “We are thrilled to join forces with The Mad Hatters Present to raise funds for such a worthwhile cause while also bringing a little of the glamour of Paris to Winchester.”

Catherine Turness of The Mad Hatters Present added: “Combined, we hold a wealth of event organisational and fundraising experience. ‘A Night At The Moulin Rouge’ promises to be a wonderful evening of show-stopping live entertainment and is a night not to be missed.”

Neil Jarrett, Fundraising Manager for the British Heart Foundation, said: “Every day heart disease devastates the lives of thousands of people. And it’s only because of fundraising efforts like that we’re able to continue our life-saving research.

“We are very grateful to 3Women and The Mad Hatters Present for organising what will be a fantastic and spectacular evening. Every pound raised from this event will be spent on funding new breakthroughs to help prevent, treat and cure heart conditions.”

Tickets for the Charity Ball are currently on sale for £70.
