Whether it’s a simple 99 or something a bit more adventurous, there’s a good range on offer when it comes to ice cream (with some sorbet and gelato on the way) here in Hampshire

Located in the heart of the New Forest, Melt offers a wide range of flavours and different combinations as well as more filling treats such as waffles, cakes and sandwiches; perfect for a break during a New Forest cycle ride! @forestcycle on Twitter fully recommends the salted caramel!


New Forest Ice Cream

Manufactured in Hampshire

This independent ice cream manufacturer located in Lymington produce a whopping 44 different flavours ranging from vanilla to Jaffa Cake and banana to bubble gum! Not only that, the team at New Forest Ice Cream, who we caught up with in 2014, also produce sorbet, ice lollies and other wrapped goodies.

A wide range of gelato and sorbet all made in the shop using natural ingredients and classic Italian methods. The gelato is low in fat whilst sorbets contain around 50% fruit which give a fresh and tangy flavour.


Vero Waffle and Gelato

The name is the giveaway here... ice cream isn’t the only treat on offer at Vero Waffle and Gelato in Aldershot. Chocolate confectionary, Belgian waffles and freshly roasted coffee will compliment your ice cream beautifully!

Opening in 2015, Sweet in Totton is the new kid on the ice cream parlour block. Since then, they’ve received rave reviews on their Facebook page and are most definitely worth a visit when you get a chance!
