A Hampshire company has just scooped three medals at the Great Taste Awards 2013, including the prestigious triple gold star award. NISIS is an award winning artisan bakery producing a scrumptious range of premium Italian biscuits deep in the heart of the New Forest in Hampshire.
It has been a great year for this little bakery, which was chosen to supply all of the Athletes competing at London 2012. 43,000 chocolate chunk biscotti were supplied into the athletes villages, and these were available throughout the day for the Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
Not only has NISIS been busy baking for Bolt et al, but the team is suitably chuffed to have won three medals at the Great Taste Awards including a much coveted triple gold for their Ginger macaroon. Other awards were a double gold for the Limonetti and a single gold for the Roasted Hazelnut biscotti. Denise Stevenson said that whilst it doesnt quite match Michael Phelps record, we are suitably proud!
NISIS ranges include retail ready boxes of individually wrapped biscotti and amaretti (naturally gluten free), as well as retail bags. NISIS products are all made by hand, using the finest ingredients, British wherever possible (73% cocoa solids chocolate, free-range eggs, British sugar and flour).
