What do you most enjoy about your job?
The look on the face of a satisfied customer when a job is complete; there’s nothing like it for job satisfaction and motivation to go to work.
Are there any particular work challenges you face and, if so, how do you deal with them?
Every tailor-made kitchen or building project is unique and presents its own specific challenges, so that keeps the job fresh.
We apply our many years’ experience in design, manufacture and building services to overcome structural and functional difficulties; so when we say tailor-made, we really mean it. Every client gets exactly what they and their project requires.
How are you handling the downturn in the economy?
Being able to offer Building Services, Bespoke Design & Manufacture and Project Management within the one company, makes us highly desirable for clients who want hassle-free and efficient home improvements. It makes us flexible and able to adapt to a diverse mix of projects, thus opening up opportunities closed to companies that offer one-off services.
We have also honed our systems and processes in an effort to reduce wastage and eliminate errors, thus saving money and improving the service and prices we are able to offer our clients; making home improvements a realistic proposition with us.
We are proud of the fact that 50% of work comes to us as a result of personal recommendations, so although we have the capacity for more projects, we are certainly pleased with the level of business we are securing.
What’s the best piece of business advice you’ve ever been given?
Set yourself high standards and deliver on your promises, and then the customer will not be disappointed.
